On this first Tuesday of December, our guest is Dr. Chad Wilsey, Spatial Ecologist and Climate Research Manager for the National Audubon Society. We will be talking about the Christmas Bird Count, now in its 116th year, and how information from that and other citizen-science efforts are informing scientific research.
The Mendocino Coast Audubon Society hosts two such Counts each year. You can find out how to join in the fun at their Website.
Peregrine Audubon Society also conducts a Count in the Ukiah area. To find out more, go to their Website: peregrineaudubon.org
